Chilean Common Hake and Anchovy

In collaboration with the Instituto de Fomento Pesquero, IFOP, Blue Matter organized a training course for management strategy evaluation attended by fishery managers, stakeholders, and scientists in Chile. The course was then followed up with a teaching workshop for the openMSE package.

In 2023, we are evaluating the performance of candidate management procedures, including the current harvest strategy and alternatives, for the Northern Chilean anchovy (Engraulis ringens) and common hake (Merluccius gayi) stocks.
