FPAT

Blue Matter is working with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations to develop an open access, data-limited assessment and management tool for fisheries.

The Fisheries Performance Assessment Toolkit (FPAT) is being developed in collaboration with scientists from the School of Aquatic and Fisheries Science at the University of Washington, and combines their Fishery Performance Indicator framework with quantitative simulation results using openMSE.

Once complete, the FPAT app will be hosted online and will provide a streamlined and user-friendly interface for specifying fishery characteristics, running scenarios and visualizing outcomes.
