Gene tagging harvest strategy

Blue Matter evaluated the performance of harvest strategies based on conventional gene tagging for Atlantic bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus). The analysis supported a promising alternative that may be cheaper, simpler, and more robust than the current conventional stock assessment paradigm, which must model the complex dynamics of the two stocks.
