Snapper-Grouper MSE

Blue Matter is working with the SAFMC to explore the impacts of various management measures across the recreational and commercial sectors of the snapper-grouper fishery in the U.S. South Atlantic.

This work includes development of operating models, including Red Snapper and Gag Grouper, for the species complex. Management procedures will explore measures that affect catch retention limits, size limits, season length, as well as spatial closures.
